Our Story

After 20 years running my own house cleaning business here on Vashon, I watched my clients struggle to stay safely in the homes that they loved as they aged. I also watched caregivers struggle, trying to navigate a confusing system with little support of their own,too, that experience is what led to the creation of Sunrise Allies.

Mission statement

Sunrise Allies connects people of all ages and abilities with the support services and caregivers they need to live safely and with dignity at home. We guide families and caregivers through the systems, like DSHS and private care, that make support possible.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to see a future where no one, regardless of age, ability or income has to navigate the challenges of aging or living with a disability at home.

Caring Services, Tailored to You

  • We help clients access resources, complete paperwork, and understand what support they qualify for.

  • We connect people interested in caregiving to real training programs - HCA, RNA.

  • We help clients sign up for the Carina app, Care Closet to find an aid.

    We also help caregivers connect to training, programs like CDWA.
